How ironic this chapter is, damn. She comes in dejected and sad, kinda apathetic due to being an item to Maria Theresa, a prize for Louis-Philip. Then she notices the fashion - loves it. Then she meets Marie-Joseph - she's infatuated with her. A sad, sad thing to see.
I absolutely love this flash-forward though. As far as I know though, Charles-Henri will be her executioner, so maybe it's Marie-Joseph who escorts the princesss to the platform.
