Doesn't it? Aside from the fact, that she grew up so she might've just naturally started feeling things, she wants to break the gap between her and nobility AND she was used too, so might be a lot of pent-up trauma, frustration etc.
It always depends on how the author is going to sell it, but it makes sense.
