Louis-August, who never wanted Marie-Antoinette and never wanted to be forced to sleep with somebody, trying his best not to think of the plasure by imagining opening locks, as that's his hobby? What an insane sentence! I love it too. I appreciate how all of this could be shallow, devoid of all those hidden meanings and symbolism and you'd still think "oh, good story for a TV long-running show my mom watches".

Instead, it's deeper than that. And poor Marie-Antoinette... It's vicious, how little respect for her - a person - this world has. And for her peers as well, of course. So many centuries of this, guys - can you imagine?

Now, I've given up on Marie-Joseph and Charles-Henri ever being close again. They might one day stand on the same side of the barricade though, that's still on the table!
