Why is it that entries of the "Popular New Titles" are absolute dogsh!t 9 times out of 10? Always some generic-ass isekai or some stupid pixiv 2-pager, with the fitting sub-7 rating most of the time. This feels like AI slop without the AI part.

Okay, this one was starting to be pretty good, but goddamn does the MC need to grow a fucking spine. I’m getting sick of the whole “you’re just a measly old man” schtick from literally every villain. It’s gotten boring and we’re not even that far into the story yet ugh. All he has to do is stand up for himself a bit and maybe actually punish some of the people who try to hurt him, but nah, he doesn’t. It is also complete bull he doesn’t actually introduce himself as the sage. Would cancel half their initial problems.
