People do have a rosy picture of how the internet was in 2000s, you open a webpage, 50 popups, 1000 ads per page, flash everywhere, no real ad blockers.

And to be honest things were more restricive back then than today, but google search was better back then than today lol

PS My guess is, Edge is going to find out when they got defeated, chrome was the one who put them back together with chromium parts
