hi, checking among the proposals I found the one in which it is suggested "Hide series set to dropped "
https://mangadex.org/thread/217243

and I would like to propose a similar thing : insert an category "unwanted" or "Ignore me" 💩.

In summary avoid seeing the latest updates of the series that are included in this list

differences between "dropped" and "unwanted"?

"unwanted" has never been initiated, since the description / summary / cover / tag / or other reason is considered "allergic"🤢.

for example I have excluded those with the horror tag but this reasoning cannot be applied for each series, or for lack of "specific" tags or for "sharing tags" [I could delete some series that interest me by mistake]

With custom follow categories you would theoretically make any categories you wanted that also had the "hide from listings" functionality.

A "Follow category" refers to all the different ways you can follow a specific title (e.g. "Reading", "Completed", "Dropped").
You would be able to create a custom follow category called "Ignored" that would add that option to the follow menu for titles that would result in them being hidden.

sorry but ??? but how do you manage the categories and add the rules ???

in the setting page i/you (?) can choose to block :

-Content
-Format
-Genre
-Theme

I'm not interested in creating a "follow" list, the idea is:
if I open the home page with the latest updates ( https://mangadex.org/ )

as I don't see / I don't want to see updates for [random examples: horror / cooking / aliens] I don't want to see the updates of the series that I put in the "unwanted" or "ignore me" list

(I don't think that the creation of a group and related actions on the db can be done by a simple user ... )

I apologize for the confusion. Custom follow categories are an upcoming feature (shown in the list). They are expected to be added in the next update to MangaDex. For now all you can do is be patient.
