The only openly scummy thing the dead guy did to MC that's mentioned was going for the girl his friend had a crush on in high school. Everything else negative about their relationship seemed to come from how everyone around them talked about their friendship, particularly MCs mother. Saying the dead guy ruined MCs life is a crazy overstatement. Also FMC didn't choose the dead guy over MC because she never realized MC was an option in the first place until after her husband died

The first thing you mentioned was not open, unless I've completely forgotten he never never said that to MC, and the second part is being scummy to his wife, not MC. Neither points you made refute my point that the scummy guy didn't ruin MCs life. If anyone ruined MC it was MC himself by being pathetic

In chapter 24 page 9, it clearly say the blonde look down on MC.. and my second point is that he was very scummy to everyone and let's not act like he was not with her just because he wanted MC to feel more inferior to him(chip 41.5 clearly shown that he only valued MC in his heart in his own twisted demeanour) and MC is pathetic for a reason(imagine living your life to someone who never truly struggled but was always at the top in class or life)

This is one of my favorite mangas honestly. I reread it every once in awhile. It's perfect length, every chapter is interesting, I never get bored. Any manga that can keep my attention the whole time is goated, I drop manga very easily. Also I just love the ending, I was expecting something much worse but it's a very happy ending. Good drama like this is hard to find.

MC and his childhood friend are both dog and scum at the same time, it's an interesting title.

pretty good read. Still what was that unwanted pregnancy about? Also sad we dont get to see the side ship happen between Kai and Miyu. I always love to see side ships happen while the main romance is happening but we didnt have enough chaps for it sadly.

I thought than mixing the Reika phrases: "I'm afraid 'im not very good with older men" and Shuuji "Dirty, Its just a hole" make me thinking if Reika suffered an sexual abuse from her mother boyfriends.

Well... i needed to comment... to me this author just got a woman absolutly right with this one, not all but majority... you cant even be mad a her because is just being a woman... yes, just go with the most toxic guy ever because he makes you feel something even if there was a guy right there that could make you happier, accept that he cheats on you because well this is it. The moment the guy dies she feels nothing because she was using him like he was using her.

The two of them were trash, MC just needed something in his life, imagine of MC just had a normal friend, the story would colapse on it self that is why you need to isolate mc to be the loser of losers... that is just bad writing and you all know it.

She is not the worst because she is just a woman on survival mode... she will take advantage of everything around her and make some excuse in her mind.

Tô be honest she would make mc life a living hell if she was with him back in the Day, we dont know who was like shuuji lifes dealing with her, because she was fucking crazy, she is fucking insane...

We all know why the author didnt have another woman in mc life even if he was a normal Nice guy, lets be honest a older woman would see him as a Nice plan B for he bad choices, it would be really good if reika said to this woman that she could have him as long she with him because she doesnt want to be alone.


I give 6,5/10 because it could have been so much better... those two characters were useless specially the black Hair friend... she didnt do shit. Whatever it is what it is.

Yeah Shuuji is a manipulative scum bag piece of shit through and through, but mc is also unfortunately a spineless coward with no backbone or self respect for himself.

Even knowing Shuujis personality and the shit he said behind his back not only does mc never confront him about it, but he continues to humor their relationship further. It wasn't until mc was drunk and it the words were said directly to his face and in front of his crush does he finally decide to man up.
