The ending feels like a rushed cancelled series kind of ending, where they have to suddenly wrap the story up in a few chapters.

I feel irritated after I finished reading this.
I was expecting something to happen in the story but, it appear nothing happens.

Quite a let down I must say.

Reading this till the end left me unsettled. Feels like alot has been left unresolved. No romance in this either, so that was a surprise. There's not much charm to the main guy and gal either. But whatever, I read this shit for the art.

zero character development for the main duo, zero actual conflict, zero of any substance at all, and the ending is bad to boot.
yep, it's garbage.

Very much wasted potential and development. It's not all the mangakas fault though, we can tell It got axed so I won't dwell into the ending that much, but there are so many loose strings that really urk you or confusing character writing. For example, Sarutobi; when he was first going thru Inugami's underwear I took it has him being aloof and nonchalant, not a pervert. In fact that could have been a really funny flaw for a perfect like him, later on we find out that he's just a pervert I would not care so much if it wasn't for the fact that it's just not fitting for someone like him and that there's no comedic values to his perv antics. The one time I had actually laughed at one was him defending those gym shorts with a serious and straight face. Anything other than that it was deeply weird and embarrassing to look at, as if he has some degrading kink.

Moving on from that the student president thing being left alone was such a huge letdown, that could have been a seriously good arc to explore. Especially since we still had yet to see the full extent of the presidents unhinged side. The arc could have been concluded in 1-2 chapters even.

None of these characters take an initiative to grow better as characters, only say a few words and that's it for the day. The only person I ever saw trying was the shirt girl, but I can't even remember her name bc the mangaka threw her ass away, she has truly funny antics being the only stories' deeply flawed character.

Ik a lot of ppl were disappointed In the "romance" aspect but honestly that was just high concentrations of copium by the damn near beginning to find any viable means to continue the book. This is because we quickly learn that Sarutobi is just an unapologetic asshole. I love enemies to lovers and they had a really good set up in the beginning, unfortunately it seems like the mangaka was just fumbling around with this man because DAMN this guy does not do anything but be a bitch. If his perv antics are supposed to be a way of "development" then you can keep it because who in their right mind will date someone who does that to them. That's why I gave up on the romance plot so easily, I couldn't find any reason for him to get with her the more I read on. This also could have been a reason why it got axed, If it wasn't for the fact this book was alr finished and short I would have gave up on this story so long ago as a weekly reader. It's so painfully repetitive and frustrating no wonder readers were probably dropping or the editors thought it was time to go.

Even the fan service was getting to me bc no 14 is going to be built like that lol, the author could have made them 16 or even 18 would have been such a good choice since it could better illustrate the urgency of claiming the company It would be one more year before getting out of school and starting you own career, being your own person. Imagine if you were preparing to be the head of an infamous company for the 18 years you have been on this planet then some guy comes out of nowhere claiming it as his own, only giving a years worth of time to get it back knowing this is the ONLY this you have prepared and lived for all of your life; THAT is some pressure, a really good way to 1-up everything. A 14 year old fighting and worrying abt that rn seems just a teeny bit outlandish in my opinion.

If the right mangaka had cooked this synopsis we could have had an A1 romcom right here, it's such a shame seeing such a interesting premise and characters go to waste by being terribly written or not being used at all.

10/10 art tho, hella stylish
