Wait, why is Lucian referred to as a 'he'? She's supposed to take in 'villainesses' according to title..

I was kind of hopeful that this manga would be somewhat interesting after the first couple of chapters but if every problem is resolved exactly like this and the characters continue to have less than 0 personality it makes me wonder what the point of this even is.

The title sorta stopped mattering the moment it showed that she took in Theo as her butler too

Liked the idea of multiple stories and their characters coexisting in the same world, but it just feels so bland in execution, and like a far cry from the initial idea of "let's rescue condemned 'villainesses' and use them against the stupid countries that banished them" that had some level of merit, albeit fairly little considering how popular villainess reversal manga has become. It just feels like a world of characters as flat as stick figures, with the MC being no exception considering she's now a stereotypical goody-two-shoes demanding someone forgive their victimizer because "teehee I solved the problem so you need to forgive them" and "oh no look how poor and tragic this character is, this problem was easily solvable without betrayal but you should get over it anyway because they are just so poor and pathetic and tragic despite almost having you cast out of society forever". It's just slop at this point.

is "vilainess" even gendered in japanese to begin with?
They have 2 different words for it that are used along Akuyaku which is meant to be Villain, Bad guy or so, Reijou for young female nobles and Reisoku for young male nobles (or young lady and young lord), the title is using Akuyaku Reijou so is refering to females, so Villainous Young Ladies

An example of using both would be If the Villainess and Villain Met and Fell in Love (Akuyaku Reijou to Akuyaku Reisoku)

I was never a fan of "If you X then you'll be just like him". Mainly because, like here, it doesn't really...apply?

"If I hold a grudge and get children hurt for it, I'll be just like those old assholes engaging in politics and power grabs"?

Anyway, it's convenient when your subordinates are so long-lived that you can make a quick 100 year deal with them.

The manga kinda has a problem that a lot of european countries movie industries have: It's closer to a theatre piece, rather than believable acting.
