Seeing the probably LN mature looking art style in the cover, in comparison to the stylized and childish looking designs of the manga arts... I wonder what kind of "tone" this story is going to be.
Is it going be more serious tone with the lighthearted art style? Or will the art style informed the tone of the manga.
I wonder if the artist who did the cover managed to do monthly chapter, I would prefer it more, ala that barrier master manga.

Was wondering the same thing; I imagine it depends on if they had any skills she didn't already get from murdering the village and/or how much of her affection for MC was real.

Most probably outcome, though, is they're long dead before she killed the rest of the villagers and the whole moving them to the capital is just cover.

• Why would she need an additional skill for acquiring skills if she's already slaughtering absolutely everyone for skills?
• There is no reason to tell him the truth, could just as easily lie that she fended off the killer before he got there.
• If she wanted to acquire the skill after he leveled it up, would likely be easier with her there to support him (and even pay others to give him skills since she's not just talented but loaded too)

This feels like she was not actively plundering before, and legitimately loved him, and either accidently self-defensed someone to death with a skill like "moral inversion" and turned herself into a psychopath (assuming plunder only/automatically works on death), or was targeted by someone with a skill like possession or mind control.

Strangely enough this backstory doesn't appear in the web novel, and doesn't seem to be in the light novel either.

It's pretty much just a collection of short stories with th same character being one of the cast

Yeah is not the most healthy sister but she just unjustified clean an entire town that was going to do the same thing or just bullying and abandoning his little brother

not a reasonable reason to do that (uncover her skill plunder) but we will no feel bad for those skill supremacist rural town, the unforgivable thing is she fake his love to her brother and want to kill him
