It's a hidden trap.GB girls are not traps.
Nobody ever seems to be able to provide proof of that, always just "This totally happens all the time you guys, so stop saying it.". In fact, this is literally the first time I've ever seen the term used for anything other than a crossdresser.Should mention that "trap" has been used many times as a slur against trans women. I met some trans women who want to reclaim it so I'm not making a value judgment (I used to be more ardent in 2018) but I'm not going to stop informing people when I hear the term used.
The slang trap comes from the joke that a guy falls for or likes a cute girl only to find he was a guy crossdressing. In no way it involves any of the shit you said. It's just dumb. Lemme put it in a stupid way, it's like wanting to eat a cookie filled with chocolate only to find it was filled with raisins. The word "trap" comes from the set of beliefs
in other words: sexism, homophobia, and extreme entitlement.
- the belief that being gay is wrong
- the belief that a man feeling attraction to someone who is not a woman but looks like one makes him gay
- the belief that dressing in women's clothes is an act of treachery and deception ("trapping")
- the belief that a man should not have to need to check that the person he is pursuing meets his romantic and sexual criteria (in this case, being a woman), but rather everyone who's not a woman should stop making themselves look like a woman
A person who has these beliefs combined with "trans women are not women" belief will indeed use "trap" toward trans women.
Do people really believe '"transwomen" to be women ?The word "trap" comes from the set of beliefs

Some do, what I do find most ironic is that the people that are all for tolerance and acceptance are the ones who lose their shit first when you don't believe in the same stuff as they do.Do people really believe '"transwomen" to be women ?
"Tolerate us!" Ok.Some do, what I do find most ironic is that the people that are all for tolerance and acceptance are the ones who lose their shit first when you don't believe in the same stuff as they do.
some people maybe. me personally? if transwomen had little to no difference than a real women, I just skip the trans part and straight out calling them women. if transwomen still had a lot of their male part intact (that is, just changing their clothes to be girly, while still having a male larger posture) I straight out calling them drag queens.Do people really believe '"transwomen" to be women ?
With all due respect, the trans lobby NEVER had a claim to that word so them reclaiming it is just newspeak for them wanting to appropriate it.Should mention that "trap" has been used many times as a slur against trans women.
