Wonder if the director is chastising the other actress for unnecessary roughness. Even if Yu can take a blow better than a human movie watchers, especially fans, would notice the unaccountable bruising, black eyes, and scrapes on Yu's face and complain about it. A pro would be able to fake hitting a co-star without beating them up and applying makeup to cover the black eyes and bruises is time consuming which would create filming delays. Would explain all those windows of him lecturing the other actress during breaks.
