A challenge then! Another pup, who will not be ignored.
He lusts for glory, longs for fame. He wants it all today.
He thinks an aging swordsman will be weak and easy prey.

Sheese, don't assassins know you're not suppose to interrupt someone when they're taking a leak? Kind of wonder if Grandpa demon did that deliberately because had to go, was trying to draw assassins out, or both?
Don't get comment looking down on using swords on battlefield instead of blades because isn't a sword a type of blade?
Anyone else think guy in wheelchair is Mu's father or grandfather? Has that same habit as Mu where signals sniper to start shooting by snapping his fingers. Although he was pushing his abilities too much. If he could send the bullets into the assassins head with his ability that'd be putting his money where his mouth is. But not same thing if signal sniper to shoot them even if using same bullets he stole from assassins. Surprised sniper didn't have any company going after him.
Think type when Mountain Demon was talking cause said "Should we F4 enlist in the army again?" Unless the F signifies something should be either four or 4. Considering it's probably been ten to twenty years since the wheelchair guy hid those energy cells are those things still worth anything much less still usable after so many years?
As for last scene author seems to like cliffhangers so guy might or might not die or have an important role. Partially depends on whether the material would really strengthen alliance and screw Daxia a little or a lot if taken. Unless the escorts were already destroyed they're probably just a fleet supply ship doing a run when ran into trouble. Unfortunately have no idea who they are, where they are, or who's suppose to get material so hard to say what impact on story their success or failure will have on big picture.
