okay this has been bugging me but What the Fuck is the matter with that fucking "Scholar"? I mean fuck he sounds like one of those crazy Woke idiots that gets called out but still stands his ground on a stupid and baseless argument What the Fuck?

It is what happens when someone is raised to have an extreme level of self confidence. They assume only they know the truth and everyone else is stupid for not listening to them.
I don't know a lot about the culture in China, but I'm assuming the character is one of the "favored son" archetypes that has been raised, protected from all criticism and taught only to get good grades. In the US, is be something like helicopter moms. The author is constantly making characters like this look foolish, which can be fun. The amount of them in the story is one of my gripes though.
Honestly, the author's overuse of these kinds of characters to me is starting to get grating I mean seriously the only serious characters have bipolar personalities that switch from being serious or being comedic its good when used sparingly and with 1 or 2 characters but it flips from being all the female characters to being the alternate personas of the MC to the flanderized side characters like that Big-Brained idiot scholar the co-host professor who is a robot now his replacement who died a well-deserved death and half the other characters who I can't even remember anymore.
