Well, some of them are already on their way to the DS Empire. Working under Mu would undermine their benefits since Mu is a pillar of justice—for the lower classes. They're sabotaging all war resources of Daxia which would guarantee the DS Empire's victory. If only they knew MU is a Soul Tier.
