Not surprised in the slightest, but I agree. It hurts knowing what Izumi has been through, and all the effort she puts in for Ichitaka, when he's already in love with Iori. Also her ex was a complete and utter piece of trash, so she has not many options left. If she gives up on Ichitaka, I fear she will rebound back to her cheating ex.
