He can't. He's simply a serial cheater. And Iori doesn't have the resolve to break up with him. He cheats both physically and emotionally, but he seems not to think it's cheating because he doesn't initiate it first. (while he didn't chase the childhood friend or Izumi first, he still kissed them out of his own free will, and he allowed these girls to tempt him, even though he "liked" Iori.)
