Finally, some manga touchess on the fact that reincarnators in Villainess Isekai basically kill the original (which is why I prefer time travel vilainess variant).
But have you read the one within the villainess which plays with the trope? Also a several are personality merges instead(sometimes with acceptance required and consolidation of the halves tho pretty rare). There’s also the voice in the head and vengeful spirit types

not all don't touch that. Because some, the MC is born at birth, so there are only one of them in the first place. She remember everything. Or, just one day, she fall and hit her head or something like that, and remember her past life.
Or that one manhua/manhwa got anime last 2 season or so, the villainess also reincarnation to someone else

I’ve seen a bunch that work around that by writing the scenario differently.

Sometimes the villainess died/killed themselves already and their body was simply occupied post mortem. Ex. [1] [2]

There are even some where the more dominant “self” is the original personality to begin with and the “reincarnation” is simply the villainess suddenly being able to call upon the experiences of another person they didn’t know. [1]

Sometimes the person who is being occupied might be stuck on “spectate” mode and observe someone else piloting their body. To some ultimately a positive [1], others a horrific nightmare [2]. The latter isn’t a reincarnation manga but it is villainess and more about the existential horror of not being able to control your own body but being forced to watch.

mfw I plan to kill someone to prevent them from reincarnating in another world

There are a ton of methods of reincarnation that go down that path. If you really have to be a villainess, the best options are

1. Be reincarnated, but lose all your memories until you’re like ten years old (the original is still you, but one from a fresh file that gets your save game data)
2. You’re straight up reincarnated from the moment you’re brought into this world (the Rudeus Greyrat method - simple, but you are going to be squeezed out followed by a couple years of babymode so keep that in mind)
3. You end up possessing the villainess and basically become a spirit advisor to the original (you become a stand, basically)

I wonder what happens if you kill an angel? Does that genre of reincarnation end or does someone else figure it out and take it up? Also if he was already captured BEFORE the call (probably) why did the maid not finish the explanation.

I've seen several where the reincarnator takes over the body after a suicide attempt.
