Shiina's 12 karma is 360 days, or just shy of 1 year.

Now obviously, not all of it was from prayer so I wonder what other sources are and if it's "farmable". Also, I wonder if Shiina's karma carried over from his previous life, carried over from the original owner of the body, or started from 0 when he took over.

It's easier to lose karma than to gain it, so clearly the best way to get good karma is to piss the goddess off so much that she begrudgingly accepts how devoted you are to your goal and maxes out your karma so you stop doing all that shit. Once you've got the karma you wanted, you don't need to sin anymore, so everyone's happy!

well you die if you piss off too many people and goddess can just ignore there are tons of bad people in this world and some of them are maybe in it just due to bad circumstances and power of miracles may help them but they didnt get it

Simply lying for the sake of telling a fictional ghost story drops your karma and to get it back up you need a full combo of 30 days of prayer. Whoever designed this F2P suffering will surely have some kind of shortcuts like microtransactions in mind. Donation to the church!

Force an integer underflow? Like Gandhi going nuclear. The only way to achieve peace is to have a bomb big enough that others don't want to mess with you (how the current Ukraine happened, they gave up their nukes).

I'd think that doing that would lead to the standard corruption of the gods, making them evil, which may be fun in the short term.

They did not maximize that time. Instead Shiina slacked off because of not getting immediate results and Chiiba taking short cut to boost instead of locking in on her training.

Even training itself takes practise, who goes from waging in the city to combat ready bootcamp in a week? They also had to worry about some other crap including the money
The plan was always "get chiba used to magic and shiina will manage somehow" anyway, nobody ever expected shiina to do much of anything

I really do want to see Chiba‘s full opinion on this merging party sruff because I also can't believe that he would just agreed to it just like that. I don't like it if he made his decision just because he is capable of something that's just so happen to be useful right now and thought that thing's going to go well for him.
