I find myself wondering how old different characters are after reading this chapter. The situation was bad enough to cause factions to form thirty years ago, but the current king was not only already on the throne, but old enough to have a son who was himself old enough to be the center of a separate faction. The king doesn't look all that old. While I know that men are able to father children for quite a long time, the king is still young enough to have a daughter who is herself young enough that the staff around her have no problem with yelling at her--in front of guests, no less--over every little thing.

I think that the MMC might be wrong about whether Myura is bad with children. She's a child herself. In a previous chapter Remia said that Myura is only fourteen.
