That guy was blathering on about "Intelligence", but explained the most ridiculous solution that anyone could dream of.
The MCs suffer from a lack of knowledge, but not intelligence, so they were naturally approaching with caution in a normal manner, and yet they acknowledge this guy for his raving? lol.
Smarty-pants thinks the best idea is to split forces and try attacking the guy with blatant superpowers. But if they'd gone all in from the start, and immediately taken out Rin and blondie, then the weird girl could have still had a 'close' battle with an emotionally distraught One Punch McGee.

Well anyway, it's just your average isekai.
