Generally, I don't have a problem with slavery in fantasy if it's set in an appropriate period or setting. But here, the mc brings slaves to the modern world, and doesn't seem at all uncomfortable about it. The entire world engaged in slavery, every races and nations. The whole slavery is bad is only something very recent in our general history and happened due to the influence of western moral norms, more specifically the USA who abolished it and then spread that moral code down to every culture that they could reach.

I'm fairly sure that if you get captured in some far off third world country and get arrested, you're likely going to be treated as a slave there, specifically because that moral code has not yet permeated that culture.

Ironically, i find this hilarious, bad writing aside- no, actually because of the bad writing it’s fun to read, like it’s so funny how the author views Isekai and fantasy as nonsensical and starts exaggerating it’s fantastical (or dumb) elements even more.
i mean the author unironically believes that two high quality slaves can be bought for a pack of sugar just because it’s another world
