Feels like this author just wanted an easy world to use his half-arsed knowledge and low-level deductions in. I mean, it's all so damn simple, yet it's blown out of proportions as if it actually matters. Nah, sorry, this setting might be possible to write in a good way even if it's about laws, but this author doesn't posses that ability. Dropped.
