Neither do i, i mostly made it to drive home the joke by being overly dramatic.
Personally im rooting for the assassin tho.

That said, im not against a harem either unless its made needlessly large.
And would still pick the princess over the class president at least so far.
i just find her the fantasy side to have more interesting characters.
Class prez needs more screen time to be made relevant imo.

What are you talking about...Usually the main characters are craving to find a way back to their home world. Even if they were bullied, overworked, had no family...They often have this absurd obsession of wanting to go back. And they 'dive into the new world' simply because they have no other option.

There are some that actually decide to make best of their transfer thinking it's a new start for them...but still, that's because they have no means of going back even if they wanted.

This is fundamentally different and there are few stories like this. Off the top of my head I can think of only one, I believe Chinese, story like this where the main character can move between the two worlds. And I'll say this...this guys seemingly complete lack of interest in the other world is completely unrealistic. Why? Because he still comes to it, still hunts in it...but doesn't try anything more than that. Somebody that wouldn't be interested wouldn't come to it at all. Someone that would be interested would explore more. He does neither. He doesn't react like a living human would.

idk what ones you have been reading my guy but all the ones I have read are "is there a way to go back? nope alrighty then time to take over this world with this absurd cheat abuilty or I just want to live peacefully in the country side

The story development is far too slow for how long it takes for them to release new chapter, I really enjoyed this series when it first started but now it just feels like it's being unnecessarily dragged out. I've seen the RAW that released last Friday and it's not done anything to further any plot this series may have.

Well at least the knight had some common sense. As an assassin would not be reformed as easily as that and somehow no one thought to bring up the fact that she has victims that she needs to take responsibility for. She could have murdered people that were trying to help a town or a nation but now she skates and becomes a bodyguard. The princess would be a terrible leader of a nation. No way her hired killer (or any in general) should have gotten off that easy.
