Mc of mushoku tensei earns better looks by sticking to a better lifestyle. And even then everyone he meets says he is a creep (quagmire is not the sexiest nickname)

But this is instant wish fullfillment.

Not saying it is a bad story, but if your mcs main source of problems in life is being ugly... It seems like a waste to resolve that in the first chapter?

The thing is that I always project the previous look of MC towards the new one, so I look at each and every situation from the point of view of old MC's look (and then it gives those dilf hentai feelings so I just can't). Then again I read manga, if it were the novel I would feel better as I could imagine old look MC slightly different or something.
