bloody hell, i wonder if such an open and supportive school exists irl, this is practically utopia for students
It does exist, but sometimes the atmosphere and attitude only happens in batches, for example, my sister and the year after them were mostly afectionate and respectful, and they cared for each other. Then the next years were so-so, and some years later it happened again. If you have a good enviroment and supportive teachers it's easier for it to happen.

The wish fulfillment is so thick in this story that I can't help but wonder if the author is still okay. This feels almost like his swansong before doing something terrible and irreversible to himself.

Other than that, the attitude the MC exedus is quite gruesome. If he was still the weak, ugly, obese person, it would look natural. But he's not. His looks are now fitting for a professional model, apparently, and he has the myriad cheat skills that make him a total superman. His language cheat alone could make him an internationally famous person, if he so wanted, because he could translate forgotten languages as well. Also, he actually has an "int" attribute as well, which is in the hundreds if not thousands already. Wouldn't that make him a genius? He could probably master mathematics, physics, and such with minimal efforts.

Yet he's all the time acting like he's nothing and the most worthless person on Earth. How would that look like to people who actually still are miserable and bullied (like he used to be), without his incomprehensible cheats? It's like at a gas station a single parent working two jobs and still barely able to afford their mortgage, supporting the children, and paying for some very ordinary, old used car listening to some Gucci and Armani wearing Lamborghini owner millionaire complaining about the fuel prices. Dude should get his head out of his ass and realise he's the luckiest and most fortunate person on Earth (and another planet). Bloody idiot, despite his high int.

I'm really curious if they knows how Yuuya-kun was before he become so hot looking guys. Kaori-san knew how he was before but she doesn't mind 'cause she see Yuuya-kun a brave man even tho before he a midget, fat chubby ugly guy. damn.. so many speculation to think those event if "the new friends" see Yuuya-kun before and after.

trama/ low self esteem from years of being abused doesn't go away in a matter of days or even years. that stuff takes a while to recover from

It doesn't, but he doesn't need to show it. That's why I wrote "he's acting like..."

Why are u even here? Go away your toxicity is a hindrance to the good vibes here
Hes acting like he ain't shit when he knows he's athletic and has insane skills. That's the problem. Sure he can still have insecurities but he still KNOWS he has insane skills.

You know, reading this chapter I can't help but feel like the decision to jump into immediate wish fulfillment has really kneecapped the story here.

Imagine if you would how instead of going from level 0 to 100 on day one, he instead gradually improved his level over the course of spring break. That the girl he saved managed to find him while he still looked mostly like how he originally did, and he got to meet the chairman and sign up for this school still during spring break, and by the time he started high school he had managed to work his way up to level 100 and then looked like a model? His insecurities while meeting the chairmen would be a lot more grounded because he wouldn't be basically a god among mortals, it also would have been a lot more believable that the chairman managed to get him in over the course of a few weeks instead of like a single hour (heck maybe the transfer wasn't finished until after school was back if you want to have a few scenes at his original high-school while he looks like a model). It would also make reuniting with the Chairman's daughter much more compelling because she'd have been like the one person who treated him nice when he had his original appearance, something she showed willing to do but MC didn't give her a chance.

It just feels like the author is so focused on how perfect the MC's life is now that he's handsome and OP that it denies him the opportunity to value himself or have the assurance that his new life is thanks to his efforts and wasn't essentially just given to him by his grandfather. Did his kindness play a role in getting him to where he is? Yes, but it really feels more like one-shotting the ogre in the other world was more important than anything he ever did himself.

To be completely fair though, in an environment where only good people are selected, things like what presented in this chapter may happen.

There was not even room for speculation when kids with bad attitudes were refused to be let in and the ones who are in talk about "trust", so this might just be some imaginary perfect environment, but not exactly unbelievable.

Well, in real life though, there can not exist someone who would decide to build a school this perfect and keep running it since it would cost more than a fortune and the management would be crazy.

I know this story has it's flaws and absurdities! But what's wrong with some feel good moments? Till now we're pretty much grasped the direction this is going! But if you still reading just to complain about the same things every chapter, it's not the manga fault, it's yours!
