This chapter was ridiculous. I wish the author took a few panels to give some rationale to the way Youya's family treats him. Even his parents act like he's Cinderella. Is he adopted? Is he an illegitimate child or something? Couldn't he be their orphaned cousin at least? Then the family could be jealous that they were made to take care of Grandpa's favorite and they still didn't get any inheritance.

I assume it's because he's the gramps favorite, even more than the parent

what nonsensical and just honestly bad writing, "ah there is a whole biker delinquent gang at the school threatening people and even swinging a bat at adult gym teacher man let me a lone girl go talk to them just because I'm apart of student council nothing could ever go wrong, these are certainly people who can be reasoned with with conversation. what's this? they are bad people and now I'm in danger woe is me who could have seen this coming". like wtf how can that even be fiction it's so far off that I'm at a loss on how I could ever read this chapter and not just scroll through to get to the inevitable OP MC comes to save the day after what feels like 20 years of a pity party just for him to hardly hurt anyone with his over powered over poweredness and everything be wrapped up with just pure garbage. I just need to get past this sibling antagonist arc and I think it'll get better, cause like the world style isn't bad him hopping back and forth is cool and him having self doubt is fine since is was a sudden physical change and not a mental one, but if these just unrealistic even for fiction situations keep coming up I'm gonna have to throw in the towel cause its just not good enough to warrant more.

I know it won't happen in this story cause if it did it would have been in the chapter and the writing would need to be darker and actually quality, but just once I would like to see one of these stories have an OP MC who is so suddenly OP like this be in a situation where he has to fight normal people like this and he accidentally kills some of them in like one punch. like how can one control a strength of 1 going to 1000000000 or whatever his number are so suddenly and be just about to control all of that just fine. like in this one he is fighting strong monsters the whole time so he never has to even think to hold back it'd just be a good take on this kind of dumb trope.

They've shown their faces especially the ones who are suspected to be the instigators, which is the twins. If the country isn't unstable or poor, they would've been hunted by the police, would've given them more of a reason to do so if they messed with the school.

Japan had a problem with gangs like this that acted as the recruiters for organized crime. Said organizations also had a strong hold on the law enforcement and justice system.

this is why they are so frequently represented in japanese media.

Later japanese prosecuters basically declared war on crime and got something like %98 incarceration rate ( many times through less than legal means) and ended gangs and guns era of criminal empire of japan. They make money via pushing office workers to their death now.

He had similar levels of self-esteem and bravery. He hesitated for similar amounts of time on both occasions. He is quite traumatized and that does not fade away in a day or two.

This whole thing could have happened somewhere else instead of the school. The author tries to use the girl as weak plot device to make the whole gang causes trouble at school. Then the mc becomes famous at school, but why even make him famous this way?
