At which point he will not hesitate to harm you, to death if it comes to it.

So, he's very visibly deranged and untrustworthy, and our MC still decides to go to him when he asks a favor. A favor he doesn't deserve, should I add.
MCs like this one are basically too stupid to live. No sense of self-preservation, it's a miracle she lived that long.
