@introvertchild The mangaka needs to study up on a whole lot of things. The most important would be how to make the story flow at least half decently.
@Haiuli That's an incorrect theory in my opinion. It's just some weird phenomenon among the Japanese LN writers: The see who can get away with the longest title. But series like
"Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darouka: Familia Myth" do show that a long title doesn't automatically mean a garbage series. A series like
"Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kurusou Desu yo?" already required the author to have browsed through some books/sites of world mythologies, religions, and fairy tales for background research. Now, light novels in general aren't the best of the best literature, which is probably why they are called
light novels, but they have the (relatively) good, average, and bad ones, for sure. However, it doesn't depend on the length of the title.
