You do make a fair point. Even when you push two mattresses flush against each other, being on the part where they join is not comfortable in the least.

Also, Karen knows exactly what she's doing by tickling Miina's jealousy and competitive spirit, but I sure do hope this doesn't end up being a case of her doing a noble self-sacrifice of her obvious affection for Haruto.

I have slept in that kind of bed configuration with my siblings. Being in the middle with bed frames and the edges of the beds under my back sucked. It felt uneven too for some reason, and side sleeping was a nightmare.

0/10 experience. I will never try it again unless someone held me at gunpoint.

I don't know how the MC agreed to this. By far the most unrealistic part of the manga, unless the beds work differently.

Author probably never tried it himself or thought of the ramifications of it. Just a contrived way to get the MC in the middle of them. I mean, this author started 20+ stories in the last 5 years. Probably didn't have time to think too deeply about any of them.
