The silkworms found themselves a white company.
And I agree. Protect them at all costs!

What kind of needle do they use if the dragon fangs didn't go through it?
Not sure how this is any different than normal clothing. Means in the right areas, you could pierce it with a needle as it just slides in between the threads that make up the fabric.

Even if the dragon fang was as sharp as a needle at its point, the threads still need to break or part to let the fang through. Sharpen a pencil down to a fine point and you can't even push it through a cotton shirt, because while the point can enter, the rest of the pencil is way too thick. Meanwhile, you can even push needles through cut-resistant microfiber.

They skipped some parts of their "brainstorming" sessions. It is funny, it is like Pitch Meeting but with demonstration.

okay, these worms can produce silks outside from making a cocoon. but does that mean they'll stay being worm forever? no metamorphosis into some kind of butterfly/moth? then how do they reproduce??

Reminder traditional silk production has the silkworms form a cocoon, that is then boiled with the worm inside.
There are some traditional (but not fictional) processes that don't kill the worm, where the cocoon is used after the worm (or rather moth) has left. More expensive though. Spider silk is probably more expensive but could be harvested and leave the spider alive. Even then, fictional friendly spiders who easy contribute silk like in some of the other simliar mangas aren't a thing in the real world.
