Well it was depend on her in the end tho, wether she want to continue be princess or just live her life

In the later story it was revealed that the king of human kingdom and some of royal bloodline like his wife was still alive but has change their behaviour, and also if i remember correctly that she doesn't want to became a princess again hahaha
