What's up with the super ominous/foreshadowing framing, where the conversation is as simple as "'now that you got a child, how about growing a nice beard?'; 'nah.'; 'aww.'"?
Like, what was up with the "aww" being phrased as "well... that is... unfortunate..." as if that forces him to kidnap or assassinate mc?
