Just saying, but no matter how strait-laced a knight is, they would be able to expect a villain boss would leave behind his troops and try to escape using a suitable route. I mean, that's exactly what a crook would do, and fighting crooks is one of a knight's jobs. The villain seemed to suggest Illias used other knights as fodder to drive Docolla out of his camp, but that's so ridiculous it's not worth exploring. All of the knights involved are supposed to beat any gangster they find with extreme prejudice, after all.

The whole scene was weird and something you only see in a Steven Seagal movie normally: the enemy purposefully gives a long speech to praise the MC, with the script trying to make the MC look as superior as possible, even if the scene and dialogue look really unnatural. At least the author saved a little bit of credibility by having that big revelation at the very end.

No, I didn’t mean about the knowledge part, I mean the people involved, you know sometimes the person in the know in that isekai or the god/goddess usually explaining that “it’s a once in xxx chance that blablabla so you are reincarnated/transported/fall in to space rift”.
then mid story somehow so many people from MC‘s former world is coming to the current world like they’re going to a local festival.
