Lot in this manga fits the "how a dumb guy thinks smart people think" which is a rampant problem in all these "brains" not brawns isekai (some random guy in japan has better knowledge of strategy than seasoned warriors, it's supposed to be this awful apartheid state but the queen just hands him the army after calling her names). The society making 0 sense is also part that aspect.
