Can you really blame him though? The characters in this story will eventually have to confront the situation morally.Dude wtf is actually wrong with you? Every chapter it's some weird ass comment like this.
The wives would also have to confront their own morality. We've seen characters like the thief being reluctant to going back to her husband, and the samurai was absolutely foaming at the mouth about how much bigger the hero was compared to her betrothed (his size wasn't increased by the charm at that point iirc). Don't forget that the hero practically claims them to be his own when they were getting attacked by the horny fish men on the boat ride, to which none of the wives denied.Sure the wives still like the hero as a person, but they have demonstrated again and again that even with this magical compulsion aside they want to be with their husbands
The only way the Hero would willingly return to his ex-wife at this point would be if the Goddess herself admitted that she sent him back too early and caused this mess to begin with.I agree, but
If the hero shouldn't be back with the ex-wife, why would the husbands go back to the harem of the hero? at the end of the day one of these parties has to answer for their infidelity
Hell chances are the twist everyone has been calling out will happen, the hero from the future was the one fucking his ex-wife, so it turns out that he was the only one going around NTR people all along, including himself
But at this rate, there's not even one single woman that doesn't cheats on their husband in this manga, so it makes no sense for the MC to be the only one that doesn't has to swallow his pride after all the husbands he cuckoldedHigh effort posts incoming. I apologize.
Can you really blame him though? The characters in this story will eventually have to confront the situation morally.
The husbands would either have to be lied to or brainwashed after finding out the women they loved so much and sacrificed time and effort for were getting dicked down daily by the Hero while they were on the sacrificial altar. If the husbands find out they'll either divorce their wives or say "ah it cannot be helped" and accept being cucked so ruthlessly.
The wives would also have to confront their morality. We've seen characters like the thief being reluctant to going back to her husband, and the samurai was absolutely foaming at the mouth about how much bigger the hero was compared to her betrothed (his size wasn't increased by the charm at that point iirc). Going with the theory that it was himself from the future fucking his wife, thus causing him to be isekai'd: Depending on how the husbands take what the hero did to them, our MC will have to confront his own morality. For example, if the husband were to accept the situation and go back with their wives despite being cheated on for months while they were imprisoned then our Hero would have to confront his own feelings of seeing his ex wife cheat on him, causing this mess to begin with. This could be the way the Hero ends up going back to his ex wife seeing as how the husbands didn't care then he shouldn't either or he'd be a hypocrite.
However, if the husbands do what our MC did and say "to hell with this. Thanks for saving my life but you destroyed my marriage!" And go away to find happiness, it would take a powerful outside force (like the goddess) to cause the Hero to abandon his harem to return to his ex-wife (unless through magic he brings his wives with him or something). Otherwise the women would be left single and be forced to either fill the void that the hero and his rod left (impossible due to the charm) or just stay single. For our fellow heroines this is not exactly a good ending in the slightest.
So I'm not going to call @QJ96 dumb because he's at least highlights the moral dubiousness of the quandary all these characters have yet to face now that they "solved" the demon king situation. He's just bringing up an easy, yet poorly written solution to this that also wouldn't have the main character be an evil hypocrite who'd also return to his ex-wife, and that's assuming that she actually cheated on him with a different man (which our MC thinks so)
The only way the Hero would willingly return to his ex-wife at this point would be if the Goddess herself admitted that she sent him back too early and caused this mess to begin with.
It's a horribly written twist but that's the only justification I'd have for the hero to go back to someone he felt betrayed her.
Exactly. This is why there's an issue with how the next major events play out. It's either the MC claims them as his and the husbands say "fuck that" and leave their wives, or the wives swoon over their husbands, the husbands accept it, and the hero is left high and dry, either to return to his ex-wife and undoing his character growth or just sticking around for some reason (like marrying the goddess like someone mentioned here.)But at this rate, there's not even one single woman that doesn't cheats on their husband in this manga, so it makes no sense for the MC to be the only one that doesn't has to swallow his pride after all the husbands he cuckolded
NTR brainrot moment.Dude wtf is actually wrong with you? Every chapter it's some weird ass comment like this.
Everybody needs to "DUMB" or ignore him, if you respond he just fires back a remix of the exact same dipshit comment he's been posting for like 10 chapters.Dude wtf is actually wrong with you? Every chapter it's some weird ass comment like this.

Yeah ultimately this is the real problem with the story the way it's laid out. Let's look at some of our possible options (in no particular order):Exactly. It's either the MC claims them as his and the husbands say "fuck that" and leave their wives, or the wives swoon over their husbands, the husbands accept it, and the hero is left high and dry, either to return to his ex-wife and undoing his character growth or just sticking around for some reason (like marrying the goddess like someone mentioned here.)
The outcome isn't exactly looking pretty.
Yeah ultimately this is the real problem with the story the way it's laid out. Let's look at some of our possible options (in no particular order):
Option 1: Husbands are "bad" and the wives stick with the hero.
Besides going against what we've seen of some of these husbands, it also makes an "easy" justification for the wives to cheat even after the wife charm goes away, in which most other circumstances would make them look pretty horrible. Additionally, this ending's moral would also suggest that the hero was "bad" to his ex-wife and deserved to be cucked in the first place.
Option 2: The husbands are "good" but the wives stick with the hero anyways.
With this the hero is just an NTR'ing prick (possibly still using brainwashing magic on the wives), who is no better than the guy who cucked him out of his ex-wife.
Option 3: The husbands and wives get back together, and the hero stays in the isekai world on his own.
The story leaves the hero with nothing, which is kinda sad but not exactly undeserved.
Option 4: The husbands and wives get back together, and the hero marries the Demon King.
This makes some sense to me since she obviously can't get her husband (the evil god) back, but it goes back to the same moral issue as option 1 where cucking someone out of his wife is only good when the hero does it
Option 5: The husbands and wives get back together, and the hero marries the Goddess.
The goddess is already pretty dubious for making the married woman charm in the first place, and this kind of ending (grooming the hero to be a suitable spouse for her) would just push her into straight up evil.
Option 6: The husbands and wives get back together, and the hero goes back to his own world on his own
Even more of a downer ending than option 3, since he wouldn't have the stats and notoriety he has in the isekai world
Option 7: The husbands and wives get back together, and the hero goes back to his own world to rejoin his wife.
Hooray, everyone's cool with being a cuck. Swallowing your pride is definitely a part of being a mature person, but the circumstances have been stretched to a point where it starts looking really unreasonable.Option 8: The husbands and wives get back together, and the hero goes back to his own world to rejoin his wife, but TWIST it turns out he was cucked by his future self!!!
Besides just being a dumb time travel twist, it means that his ex-wife was actually still faithful and he just went out and NTR'd a bunch of other wives for nothing which makes him look like a prick. Additionally this brings the goddess back into evil territory where she manipulates him in order to have him come to her world and deal with her problems.
Option 9: The whole extensive cheating situation ends in a clusterfuck where nobody is happy.
For the record I don't think this is what the story will go with in terms of tone, even if I think it's the most realistic.
Obviously this doesn't cover every possibility, there could even be a mix since there are 7 wives - for example if even one husband is "bad" that wife could stick with the hero instead while the rest return to their husbands, though this would result in all the moral problems involved with both endings. No matter how this story ends I can't see it being anything other than a shitshow, and I look forward to seeing it.
