I guess this guy was so self-absorbed he was caught in villain monologue by himself (it's not like he would talk to his own doll... probably).
@gaigous I guess we have different standarts for character progression. Or there is nuance between progression and development. For me it's like speed - it is defined by length and time, with no time frame there is no measurable movement.
