Like five pages in, the main character saves a catgirl from a pit. She goes "um, you're not racist against me?" and he's like "you are you" and the catgirl looks like she's about to cry. I didn't keep reading to find out if she actually cries or not.
If someone wants a generic comfort read I'm sure this'll be right up your alley, but I don't have it in me to read a series like this.

It's... tolerable. It has somethings that annoy me, like the status screen/Google map stuff, but the idea that he's inhabiting the body of someone who was mysteriously murdered makes for an okay hook. We'll have to see if the author does anything with it.

Catgirl immediately attaches to him and says she'll become his friend.
Catgirl then cuts up a wolf like it's nothing
MC then does the same
And they discover some stuff about the extent of his powers
He asks the catgirl what panties she's wearing.
She answers...

This is genuinely irredeemable slop that doesn't deserve a manga. I feel bad for the artist, and I feel worse for the author.
Legit, what the fuck is up with this genre. It's all trash.
