"... literally blow their minds."

Isn't that a crime? People die when you literally blow them up.

@tangerineman17 Excuse me? Have you ever worked in a corporate cafeteria? I went to culinary school in the capital and we dreamed about getting a job there. The corporation across the street offered a salary job with a 401K and health insurance and regular hours. Do you know what shit hours chefs in even 3 star restaurants work? It's practically sweat shop conditions and no health insurance. Also corporate employees can use the indoor bowling alley in the office and even the security is doing it's patrols on Segways!! Corporate cafeterias aren't your institutional government "cheese" serving part time mothers job you remember from your public grammar school.

Don't know what country allows employee to smoke indoors near food preparation though, that's less realistic than the isekai in this manga.

@gregger the majority of humanity is lactose intolerant past the age of 8. If your Asian or African the percentage of lactose intolerance is over 90%. Native American tribes have near 100% lactose intolerance. Northern Europeans have the most lactose tolerance due to a genetic mutation that allows them to digest milk past childhood. Most of humanity that have milk products in their culture don't drink milk straight up but process it in some way that reduces the lactose. Like with yogurts or kefir or hard cheeses.
That said, giving me a giant glass of milk would make me shit my pants during the test.
@andrija5555 Yup, even if your not lactose intolerant, milk is not going to help your heart burn any more than vitamin C is going to prevent you from getting a virus.
A better home remedy would would ginger tea and a bowl of a whole grain cereal like oatmeal or brown rice congee. Both ginger and oatmeal have anti-inflammatory properties and high fiber meals help with reflux in heartburn.

@Aretheus many Asian cultures have the idea of food as medicine, China and India have for centuries. Although some has it goes back to 2BC most documents of food therapy that are name as such is from the Tang dynasty. Similarly there are the equally ancient Ayurveda foods. While this manga mentions nutritionally balanced meals which could simply mean modern nutritional food science. The Food pyramid you mentioned is the result of USA food lobbyists changing the dietary recommendations of an expert and do not invalidate the original recommendations or the science behind his conclusions rather the USA governments flaws in government.

Also livestock accounts for 14% of greenhouse admissions. I'm not sure why it matters though in a talk of balanced healthy meals?
