that one is harder to be sure. Before modern medicine giving birth was the number one cause of death for women in the age group where they can get pregnant.
We haven't seen a lot of overt like healing magic and stuff but it seems fairly medieval technology wise otherwise so its difficult to be certain.

Its not confirmed if the queen actually killed the king but even then a majority of the ruling elite would have no problem ignoring that will as it was proof the king was being incredibly stupid.

Keep in mind this is medieval royalty we’re talking about here. It was probably a loveless political marriage to reinforce relationships between the two regions, and the maid was the closest thing he had to a relationship with someone who actually cared about him. That’s just how things tended to go back then.

I understand politics may have been the reason the queen and king married then the king wanted real love. The problem is the king did more to make the situation from a bad situation that could be salvaged to people are now going to die situation.
