Does Luca not want to work in the kitchen too? I understand Arielle is older and already has experience, but I feel like Luca's knowledge of cuisine could be helpful in creating new dishes.

I think it's because he's too young? He's a couple years younger than Arielle iirc. Not sure if that's the actual reason though.

What is this cursed quasi-japanese hotdog abomination I have just witnessed on the final page?

I get the rules being strict tho considering she's from an orphanage in the first place unless she was also born there, there wouldn't be an exact date about her b-day anyways (that said you'd think they'd take in apprentices at a younger age too [but being rented a room when you're younger feels like it'd be 'safer' than her sleeping on the street or so])

I think the mayo might be a bit heavy/would prolly prefer normal yakisoba bread but Korean hot dogs you put sugar and cinnamon on as well as potato bits/chunks on the outside (it's not so bad , i didn't go for the sugar option tho i did like the batter of the potato-y corn dogs more than a regular corn dog)

It's addressed in an earlier chapter, but if Luca worked in the kitchen Hinata would not have any help. So it would just rotate the problem to Hinata.

Since when the hell are jalapeños a common topping on hotdogs?
I seriously feel like they saw the green (relish) on the middle hot dog in the image and just said, "Yeah, that must be jalapeños." I would also accept chili as an option to add to the list.

I swear the amount of variation for both hotdogs and pizza boggles my mind, its always something like on the credit page that I've never even heard of before
