are pears creamy? We usually buy apples but i hear pears have slightly less water content so i imagine they can bake/crisp up faster tho i haven't had a lot of 'fruit' pies compared to chicken pot pies growing up, other than those 'apple pie' mini desserts some places offer

(tho before the tl note i thought she was holding a donut lol) good luck if you attempt to make it tho. i hear korean pears are good but unless you live in an asian centric place i imagine they'd overcharge just for the import price

It's 'obvious' to the japanese ppl but i imagine some of the ppl in their world don't know b/c i'm sure there are younger boys who look 'feminine' and not 'masculine/tough' (tho i wonder if we'll see the opposite with some crossdressing boy who does it to avoid being a soldier lol)

(although i imagine it's still allowed bc of her ranking or family? bc i imagine if it was dangerous/not allowed ppl would stop/'expose' her or so)

Korean pear is honestly expensive no matter where you get it... It's apparently due to it being difficult to grow compared to, say, western pears or apples.

It's not a secret that she's female. In chapter 10, she recalls that people tried to speak out against her appointment as the "King's Shield" because she was a woman.
