It is a novel (of which a copy is currently sitting on my coffee table). I'm not 100% sure the novel came first, but it's by the same author as Nobu, so I imagine it's also first!

Though, unlike for Nobu, the manga artist also drew the insert / cover art for the novel, so maybe they're more closely tied than Nobu is to its manga.

Where are the typos?

i was either imagining it or you fixed them, could only find two upon re-reading the chapter. was sure i saw a bunch of missing or double words the first time around, maybe i was too tired. only typos i could find were on page 6 (convinient instead of convenient) and page 19 (flavors of the ingredients).

everything else i found were grammatical errors (on page 5 it should be "love & romance are bullshit"), mostly missing commas.
