No, it was more of me trying to make a joke of a clearly canonically benevolent character acting in a way that's uncharacteristic of them in an un-canon sort of way. The joke apparently did not land, which is fine. However I think it's odd you went past this and assumed the motives of my character as well as pulling an "UM WeLL AACKSHULLY". Rather bizarre, not gonna lie.

They aren't that benevolent, this restaurant's kitsune is just kinda decent, and would be more lazy than jealous of couples, so it's easier to assume you're projecting. It's your response that's weird, feels like a wordy slap in the face, actually.
