You can blame the official TLs for that; that the official translation term. And as we know, sometimes they don’t give out the best TLs despite being paid professionals (the TLs for the names on Re:Monster vol 1 was fucked, like some noob that never read it, and i have it all in printed volume, so that shame will forever exist)

My favourite version of that chapter is still the anime though because using dragon fruit is such a commonplace for a modern person but to a medieval one the name alone would strike quite the horror

Its a bit clunky but it a least makes sense. everyone in aitheria just thinks that's the name of the beer. They aren't saying what's on tap in their language, they are mimicking the sounds they heard in Japanese. If a German bar got isekaied and they just heard people ordering beer by saying ein bier, bitte , they could be forgiven for thinking the name of the beer is eyenbeerbitah.
