Let her know about YU GI OH....don't let Brantano's wife hear about trading card games
And good lard, the food looks exceptionally good. But I had doubt on noodle based okonomoyaki will retain its shape and not become a sad sight, gloopy mess.

If you read some of the recent ish chapters of Izakaya Gen (or its been a few months based on my memory), you can see that some possibly tales from Japanese mythology has been spread from an older time. So its quite possible that people who connected to the world has also spread things that weren’t just delicious food. How is the wife playing Karuta in Aetheria? Did a previous Japanese isekai person spread it? Or is it one of those things where it's like "Somehow coincidentally similar" like how the wife's backstory is based on Princess Kaguya?

Edit: Chapter I was referring to was Ch78 “Mystery of “Temple Fry””
My theory is that she's literally Kaguya. Not impossible considering gods and spirits do exist in Aetheria. Or at the very least, a descendant. How is the wife playing Karuta in Aetheria? I agree with her literally being Kaguya—why else would there be tropics loving bamboo growing in a European forest, if not for Kaguya to land in? (Though according to the Köppen climate chart, Germany/Aitheria would be a subtropical climate and bamboo would happily grow there!)My theory is that she's literally Kaguya. Flying deadly spatulas, and sauce made with gunpowder!I've never had the opportunity to try okonomiyaki before, but I've always wanted to.
A nostalgic chapter for a longtime Ranma 1/2 fan...
