It was likely called Oyakodon since typically it refers to a mother and her child but if I were to extrapolate, in this chapter it's likely in reference to his teachings and him. With the choice of a seafood bowl in reference to Japan being an island nation and fishing being one of their main sources of food, as opposed to the landlocked fantasy equivalent of Germany.

It's not that deep. Oyakodon means "parent and child", yeah, and in a regular oyakodon it's made with chicken and egg, with the parent being the chicken and the child is the egg. Here in the fish version, the "parent" is the salmon and the "child" is the roe. Simple substitution

now that you mentioned it, i don't think i've ever seen the term "oyakodon" used for food other than chicken and egg pairing

It's less common, but it IS a thing. I've seen a salmon oyakodon in a Japanese restaurant menu IRL. Explanation above.
