God I can't get over how great the art style is. I'm always stunned with the character's expressions. Especially when eating food.
Can't say the same for the food drawings though. I hope the mangaka improves as the series goes on.

One of the best food/diner manga out there. It's comfy with enough plot and tension to keep you reading more. Focus is on Jpan food and some popular Western dishes like Napolitan spaghetti. Characters are memorable, good pacing and balance between isekai world and modern Jpan. Recommend if you can't get enough of chill food manga.

It started good but I couldn't get myself to care for the other world characters and their plots. I just like the Japanese food ads and the isekai aspect.

Man just reread this manga after putting it on hold for awhile. I`m amazed how likable i find all the characters, even the entirely new ones.

Bruh EVERYTHING melts in the mouth, tbh tax collector and former corrupt noble are my favourite because they look refined but know when to shut the fuck up

Wonder if another reason why the dish isn't well know is due to lactose intolerance. IIRC, Asians are more likely to be lactose intolerant than Caucasian.

Kadokawa being typical Kadokawa

Manga author Virginia Nitōhei announced on their X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday that the 19th compiled book volume of Otherwordly Izakaya "Nobu" (Isekai Izakaya "Nobu") manga – the adaptation of Natsuya Semikawa's light novel series of the same title – will not have any bonus features, and will probably not even have cover art. An hour after the post, Nitōhei confirmed in another post that the 19th volume will have no bonus features, saying that the promise of them receiving royalties for their manuscript was revoked. Kadokawa publishes the Otherwordly Izakaya "Nobu" manga, and the 19th volume will ship on December 4.

Prior to and after the posts announcing that the upcoming volume would not have bonus features nor cover art, Nitōhei has been reposting several status posts about the issue of manga authors not getting paid for drawing cover art for book volumes.
