It is shockingly unoriginal and spectacularly derivative. This is what chatgpt produces when you ask it to produce stock standard dungeonsekai, the art is also so so, the action is quite mid and the pacing is passable.

It really doesn’t use the webtoon format well and very much feels like a manga in it’s paneling. There’s been like 2 drops of character development and it could not wait to drop it’s complete load on MC being the strongest, bestest ever. Like any story worth it’s salt would at least build up to a crisis moment making them unleash their full arsenal.

This is in the first dungeon they went in to to get their license to then explore dungeons, they happened to stumble upon a monster that requires the strongest currently active dungeoneers to take on. Any of these aspects can be fine but there has been no build up of any world building outside of the fact there’s some system to dungeoneering and it started recently.

It might not have used the usual tropes or cliches that other series go too (except it did with the red haired guy and something going wrong in one of the easiest dungeons apparently) at least the ones you mentioned but it also has set up little to nothing of the world so it’s can’t really be judged in many aspects.

From what’s been displayed so far there is no reason to believe this won’t rise above being power fantasy, harem, formulaic as fuck, boring MC trash. And there’s nothing wrong with that. lets not pretend this is a strong 5 to weak 6 at best though.

for example, in which manga where a rare breed of hunter with actual skill, but they also banned him because his lack of morality? in other manga, the guild would just recruited him on the spot and then protected him at all costs. and yet they're blind to mc, even when his skill is far better than those bulies! that's when most author just make some random bs to hurt mc for no reason and to make the plot goes forward. now that's BS... and for all i know, boobies works wonder to boost your sale/rating even with that unoriginal story. that's just from what i've observed when reading though (but ugly character design still get no boost either way, ugly is ugly, no matter how many bewbs they threw at you)

He gets too much screen time whilst offering little to nothing to the story and remains incredibly deluded throughout the his entire time in the story so far. He hadn’t crossed the line until aggroing the rest of the orcs or ogres or whatever but the author pushed it to an extreme till finally having someone in verse humble him. Piss poor writing.

I don’t know what it is about this particular story that has you presenting very basic story beats and story telling like it’s something inspired. There has been nothing original at any point so far, I have seen very similar setups in different series countless times where you have an MC that appears to have some kind of shortcoming in the power system but is secretly the strongest. That’s why Eminence in Shadow is so popular, it feeds into those tropes and also highlights how over the top the whole approach is.

and for all i know, boobies works wonder to boost your sale/rating even with that unoriginal story. that's just from what i've observed when reading though (but ugly character design still get no boost either way, ugly is ugly, no matter how many bewbs they threw at you)

because when discussing the quality of a series you should be able to back up your arguments. Saying people low rated it because no tits is an abysmal argument, there are countless series with tits with lower ratings than this and vice versa. It's no mystery to anyone reading this what the quality is. People who don't like isekai or any of it's spinoffs would've left after the first chapter or never tried it from the tags alone and never rated it. It's got middling ratings from people who knew what to expect anyway.

3 no world building? how many chapter you need for world building? it's also clearly stated it's only a year or so the dungeon "created". they also make sure the newbie is safe with upper rank "bodyguard". if that's not a world building, then idk what is? a real world would do the same, not gonna let those newbie DIED in training dungeon, especially in japan. no sane guild would do that!!

So my opinion on this has changed since last chapter. I think I got burned out from reading so much isekai/OP MC plot.

Firstly, the attitude of the MC and his girlfriend (pretty much) still kinda puts me off. But I like how there was immediate consequences for the actions of red head. Also, I guess like how MC and his girlfriend still get shit done without having to hide their power completely.

I dunno why the art feels weird to me, I have read stories with much worse art than this but something about it keeps iritating me. Oh well, gotta keep reading.

no idiots? My dude. The red headed guy was an idiot and had two others with him cheering him on. The whole thing of them going in using skills and powers that no one heard of or seen and being so skilled that they would be in the top of the country maybe even the world and no government wants to talk to them?

Like that would be like a person saving a country in a war with a gun no one ever saw and the whole world just saying oh well nothing strange about that.
