She is odd, but aside from calling the Elf "wife" and saying a few thing in a way kids wouldn't say it (which is rather common for fictional works displaying children), I don't see it as a big deal. I was actually expecting her to get jealous of the guy or try to do something inappropriate to the Elf, I have been on the internet too much perhaps, but she just seems to be playing house.

I understand where you are coming from though, it is a bit gimmicky and gets old fast rather quickly. It might be a bit tolerable if she was younger.
